The Fuck Cancer event this past Sunday was a hit!  Thanks to everyone that came out and supported Mike in his fight!  We are still in the process of determining how much money was raised, so I’ll keep you posted!  The next Rock the Mike event is taking place this Saturday in Durango, CO. So, there was a little confusion on how to participate in the raffle.  We want to be fair so if you put one ticket in the bucket and took the other one with you, you could still win!  The people that put their phone numbers on their tickets will be contacted in the next couple of days.  So the winning raffle numbers are:

We’ve been trying to figure out a way to sell the Fuck Cancer shirts online, but we can’t seem to do it without being gouged by another company.  And since we’re doing this for the sake of making money for Mike, we’re going to do it the old fashioned way.

The Mike Support campaign had a great weekend at the Warped Tour and here are some of the highlights:

• Nerf from Channel 93.3 promoted our tent and website on-stage throughout the event.  Thanks for the love and support.
• We collected over $1200 in cash from FUCK CANCER t-shirt sales.
• We expect Punk Rocks to be even bigger!

We’re close to being able to announce details on an awesome event we’re going have to raise even more money for Mike’s cause.  We’re in the process of nailing down a few more bands to play, but for right now, we know that it will be in August and it will be called “Rock the Mike: The Freeman Brainefit.  Check back soon for more details.

As you probably know, our friend and frontman of the band Gina Go Faster has been struck with Brain Cancer.  We are in the process of working on a variety of fundraisers and events to raise money to go toward Mike’s full recovery.

Lots of details to come, but for the time being, here’s our t-shirt.  The message is “Mike Approved” and we’re pretty sure that everyone else agrees.  Check back later for details on how to pick up a “Fuck Cancer” t-shirt.
